| LAHS Wins Second Prize at Prodigy, 2008 Organized by Delhi University |

| Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Delhi University organized Prodigy 2008, a competition for Commerce Students on 6th Nov. 2008 at Shah Auditorium in Cilvil Lines, New Delhi. More than 40 prestigious schools from NCR region participated in this event; LAHS was the first school from outside NCR to participate in Prodigy .The event had 3 competitions: Acumen Business Quiz, Marketing Pitcher Marketing campaign competition, Bull's Eye Stock Investment. Our team comprised of 8 students Mradul Gupta & Mukul Gallani (Bull's Eye), Eira Mishra & Mayank Vaishya (Acumen), Astha Bansal, Shreya Somani, Sushant Kukreja & Prabhjyot Singh Dhillon (Marketing Pitcher). These students took part in their competitions with great zeal under guidance of Mrs. Megha Sathe and our Principal Dr. Mrs. Alka Sharma. In the Bull's Eye competition all the competitors were given a hypothetical initial capital of Rs. 100,000.00, which they could invest in 12 given stocks; then news and rumours were circulated in the virtual market place and at end of each round the rates of stocks either fell or raise based on the news or rumour. At the end of 5 rounds all the competitors handed in their papers and their gains or losses were calculated and our investment experts came on top of the competition to win the SECOND PLACE and Rs. 2,000.00 CASH PRIZE. Students opined that it was a fantastic experience which broadened their mind about the business world and henceforth wish to participate in such events and even conduct one similar event at LAHS in the very near future. |

| LAHS Bags First Position in Inter School Elocution |
|
| LAHS was proud to claim the first position in the Sahaodaya Elocution Competition on 12th Nov. '08 at Gwalior Glory School. Shriya Mungi (VII) and Soumyaa Dixitt (XII) represented the school for the Humourous poem & the speech elocution. 22 schools participated in a competitive spirit and schools like DPS, Carmel Convent, Scindia Boys and Happy Days Shivpuri put up a praiseworthy performance. The head boys Soumyaa Dixit garnered yet another laurel for the school with his spectacularly vibrant speech of Martin Luther King (I have a dream), Kudos to our participants. |

| LAHS Participates in Zonal Informatics Olympiad 2009 held in New Delhi |
|
| C.B.S.E. Organized the Zonal Informatics Olympiad '09 in which 11 students of LITTLE ANGELS HIGH SCHOOL participated. The First Level of the Olympiad was held in New Delhi which consisted of questions based on Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Mental Ability and Critical Thinking. Palash Agarwal (XII), Ashish Arya (XII), Jaywardhan S. Bhati (XII), Shubhang Dimri (XII), Dhruv Bindal (XII), Karan Jhanjhi (XII), Anubhav Singhal (XII), Vishal Kukreja (XII), Divyanshi Rathi (X), Shashank Gupta (IX) and Parul Juneja (IX) participated in this Olympiad. They were accompanied by Mr. Kush Kulshrestha and Mr. Jitendra Singh Chaturvedi. Results of the First Round will be declared in the month of December after which they will further participate in the second level which is based entirely on Programming skills. |

| III Table Tennis Ranking Tournament |

The Table Tennis Ranking Tournament was Organised by Gwalior Table Tennis Association on 8-9 Nov. at LNIPE. Our students Niharika Bakliwal, Shikha Gadkar & Ruchir Gadkar took part in the event all three students have been selected for the forthcoming M.P. State Table Tennis Tournament.

| Rashika & Abhisar Selected for National Triathlon Championship |
|
| 14th M.P. State Open Triathlon Championship was organised by M.P. Triathlon Association at Hoshangabad on 14th Nov. '08.Two students from LAHS participated in Sub Junior Group - Rashika Keshwani & Abhisar Verma.
Rashika Bagged the Bronze Medal. Both the swimmers Rashika & Abhisar have been selected for National Triathlon Championship. We wish them all the Very Best. |

| CBSE West Zone Chess Championship |
|
The CBSE West Zone Chess Championship was organized by All Saints Public School, Thane, Mumbai held on 10th Nov. to 12th Nov., 2008. 38 schools participated in the event. We participated in all categories U-14, U-19 Boys & Girls. Our students of under- 19 girls category qualified for the National level to be held at Nagpur. U-19 Girls (selected for National level)

A district Level Chess Tournament was hosted by the Blue Birds School on 1st & 2nd Nov.’08. They participated in the all the categories and won several prizes.

| LAHS Wins Four Prizes at Inter School Singing Competition |
|
| An “Inter House Solo Singing Competition” was held on 14th Nov at Green Wood School to celebrate Chacha Nehru's Birthday. The Competition was held in two categories: Junior Std. VII & VIII, Senior - IX & XII. Drashti Jeswani a budding singer of X Std. from our school participated in the Senior Group and won the coveted SECOND PRIZE. Radhika Sharma & Kunal Bojewar of VII participated in the Junior Category in which Kunal Bhojewar bagged the FIRST PRIZE and Radhika won SECOND POSITION In the final Duet Singing round our melodious nightingales Kunal & Radhika once again won the FIRST PRIZE. The students were accompanied by their music Gurus Mr. Harish Sharma & Mr. Bhatt. |
