Bagged overall second position at 10th ICSQCC
 
LAHS won the overall Second position at the 10th International Convention for Students' Quality Control Circle (ICSQCC) held at Lucknow. The 10th ICSQCC witnessed the participation of over 2500 students of 185 world renowned schools from all over the world including Australia, Bangladesh, Congo, Germany, Hongkong, Iran, Kuwait, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, England, America, Zambia etc. At the 10th ICSQCC,   LAHS also won the coveted JURAN AWARD for the case study presentation by its students and teachers respectively. In addition, the Quality Circle Team of LAHS bagged the First position in Quiz and SECOND in Skit.
   
 
LAHS bagged Best Country Profile award for the fourth consecutive time
 
INMUN was hosted by Ryan International Schools (Faridabad from 4th to 6th Oct. 2007). This year the LAHS team represented 'Ghana'. The delegates locked horns with 110 of the very best schools from across the world. The four students representing LAHS Arjun Sharma, Samarth Singh, Ravit Shrivastava and Dhruv Bindal were escorted by Mrs. Binita Jaiswal, Cultural Secretary. LAHS bagged the “Best country profile” award for the fourth consecutive time. The chief guests for the award ceremony were Honourable Mr. Vayalar Ravi (Minister of Overseas Indian affairs), Mrs. Margaret Alva (All India Congress Committee General Secretary) and Mr. Rizali W. Indrakesena Ambassador of Indonesia.
 
Kunal Bhojewar selected for final audition round of SA RE GA MA
 
 
Kunal Bhojewar of std. VI brought laurels to the school by bagging 1st position at the Lata Mangeshkar Sugam Sangeet competition held at Indore by standing 2nd in M.P.

Kunal has also been awarded "The Voice of Gwalior" at a competition jointly hosted by JCI & FM 94.3 for his spectacular rendition. Moreover, Kunal has also been short listed for final auditions to be held in Mumbai for Zee Tv's popular singing talent hunt "Sa Re Ga Ma- Little Champs". He has been selected out of 800 participants.
 
LAHS stands first in the International Students Science fair, 2007   
 
The 3rd international students science fair was held on 08 Aug. 2007 at Lucknow in which total 128 teams of 22 international schools from America, Japan, Korea, China & Nepal etc. and 41 national schools took part. There were around 500 students in 7 categories. LAHS marked its presence with its three teams taking part in three separate categories.

Biology Stream: Arunika Lekhi, Aman Ahuja, Ishan Mishra bagged 1st prize by presenting a project on “Role of black pepper (Piper nigrum) and its major phyto chemical, Piperine on two carcinogenic hetrocyclic Amines derived during cooking of Non vegetarian food” under the able guidance of Dr. Meshram (Scientist 'E' in DRDE) and Mrs. Neetu Sahani.

Environmental Stream:
Sitanshu Aiyengar, Madhur Sahni and Chitransh Sahai bagged the 1st prize by presenting a project on “Phytoremediation an ecofriendly approach to minimise the hazards/pollutants in industrial effluents” under the able guidance of Dr. Jaiswal and Mrs. Anita Seth.

Physics Stream:
Kanika Mishra, Ansh Mittal, Mayur Vaish under the able guidance of Mr. Ashish Parpyani presented a project on “Object Counter” which was also highly appreciated.   
   
 
Muskan wins International Competition held in S. Korea   
 
The talented student of LAHS Muskan Vijay of class III who previously created a history by Limbo Skating under 40 Tata Sumos has now created a new history by winning the 1st prize in International Competition held at Seoul S. Korea. The competition was conducted by S.B.S. channel in which 14 children from different countries participated. Muskan Vijay was the only contestant from India. She was judged the best by the panel of judges and awarded 1st prize which comprised of 2000 S. Korean Dollars.
