This small but beautiful world – the Earth – is the only home where humankind lives...the only peaceful lap of our common Mother. Yet, this ‘mother’ is now trapped in the claws of the cruel giants who are depleting its resources and scorching its face with global warming. LAHS children contribute their humble mite in saving the earth for the future generation.
Here is a vibrant Eco Club of students actively exerting value-oriented efforts for a safer atmosphere by tree-planting campaign and creating awareness towards the three R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). LAHS declared itself a completely POLYBAG FREE ZONE not less than 10 years ago when most schools did not even think about the hazardous impacts of polythene.
Little Angels High School pays its homage to Nature by spending a considerable budget to and a careful attention on its luscious garden – one of the best gardens in Gwalior having received excellence award from Dainik Bhaskar for three years consecutively.
People say that the Third World War will be for water as it is becoming scarce day by day but at Little Angels every peaceful effort is made to divert the water war by harnessing Rain water harvesting system. In fact, the entire garden of the School receives water through this system all the year round. LAHS also has a Vermipost Project running in its campus to convert biological wastes into manure. We also have solar lights put up on the campus to light up the campus at night. |
