As Kenneth H. Blanchard rightly said, “The key to successful leadership is influence, not authority.”
These words have always reminded me that being the Head Girl ofLittle Angels High School is not about a position or a title but about my action and example which can make a difference.
A school is not just a building or a place to visit for a few hours for fun and enjoyment; instead it’s a factory where perfection is created with ex exemplary zest. I can say this from my own life. I have spent more than 15 years in this esteemed institution which gave me confidence, motivation and empowerment. It is only through the encouragement of my respected teachers and support of my colleagues that I am what I am today. I express my gratitude towards the enlightening visions of Tina Ma’am and Sunil Sir and our Principal Dr. Mrs. Shabana Rehan Ma’am who reposed their trust in my ability to lead and produce results.
I am sure that with everyone’s constant motivation and guidance I will be able to do full justice to this responsibility bestowed upon me. Working with utmost perseverance, enthusiasm and wisdom may I be able to help my school to achieve unscaled heights.
HEAD GIRL 2018-19
“Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up’’.
Being appointed as the Sports Captain of the school is a great honour and privilege for me. All good leaders need a good support network and I am blessed to have great parents and supportive teachers who helped me throughout to achieve this leading position.
I would like to express my grateful thought towards Tina Ma’am, Sunil Sir and Shabana Ma’am for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to serve for the betterment of the school. The sports captain role is more than just a badge and title to me. This would provide me an opportunity to serve my school and peers.
I will focus on the growth of the students by enhancing their morale, confidence and commitment towards sports & studies. A suggestion to my juniors is:“Never say ‘never’ because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion’’. I will give my best, holding my head high and contributing all I can do to further glorify our wonderful school.
SPORTS CAPTAIN 2018-19
Nor does everyone get it right the first time,
Success isactuallya wicked difficult climb.
However, for those who just won’t lose hope,
Success will throw a life-saving rope.
Work hard, work smart, and you will succeed,
Don’t follow the rest of the world, take the lead!!
Writing this seems like looking form the top of a long staircase with each step an evidence of my journey through my school. Yet this journey is the most beautiful and memorable one. Since this school has given me so much, it is time for me to repay for all the opportunities showered upon me with utmost responsibility, sincerity and hard work, as the Head Boy of the school.
I feel grateful that I have been appointed as the Head Boy of Little Angels High School. I would like to express my gratitude towards the enlightening visions of our school, our Principal ma’am Dr. Mrs. Shabana Rehan, our directors Sunil Sir and Tina Ma’am, all my respected teachers and my co-mates for their kind support and encouragement.
I assure that I will do full justice to the responsibility and will try my best to be a true Angelite.
HEAD BOY 2018-19
Best Parents!What a moment!
We were elated when we came to know that we have been chosen as the ‘Best Parents’. It is indeed a great honor. We owe this award to our daughter Tanisha. We wish to convey our indebtednessto Mrs. Tina Olyai, Dr. Mrs. Shabana Rehan and all the teachers of LAHS. Our three Angelites have always made us proud. Winning the ‘Best Mother’ award for my daughter Divija inspired us to achieve this goal too. The entire LAHS fraternity has been very supportive. The amalgam of values embodied in our daughters by the teachers at LAHS has helped them for what they are today.
Thank You God!Thank You All!

Being chosen as the 'Best Boy 2017-18’ is a moment of utmost exhilaration for me. It is indeed a great honour to be bestowed upon with this award. I feel very privileged and express my overwhelming gratitude to Almighty God.
I take this opportunity to thank Director Madam, Principal Madam and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff for their support and guidance, andfor making this journey a memorable one. Their constant encouragement, immense love and valuable support have led to inspire the best in me.
I remember being admitted into Play Group, being nervous and afraid in the strange surroundings amongst strangers; but I also remember how time went by and this institution became not only my Alma Mater but also my 'Domi Alter', i.e. my "other home".
LAHS is truly a wonderful place where I found the right environment to develop myself from a shy, introvert child to what I am today.
I am humbled and feel extremely grateful to the LAHS fraternity for providing me with ample opportunities to learn and the moments spent here that I will cherish forever.

It is really hard to believe that it has been 15 years that I have been a part of the LAHS family. Time seems to have flown just in the blink of an eye. Summing up the most memorable years of my life in mere words seems to be an uphill task for me.
LAHS has always been an inseparable part of my life and has made me who I am. It has given me the opportunities to explore myself and has instilled confidence in me to face the world with a deep sense of dignity and humbleness. It has taught me to embrace my failures and to never give up. The lessons learnt here will be with me forever. I will always cherish the memories created in the school -- be it the classes, the dance practices, the MUN sessions, the speeches and debates that I have delivered or just those simple moments of sharing lunch meals together with friends.
LAHS has witnessed my transformation from a little shy toddler to a girl that can express her views without any hesitation. I owe my success to the entire LAHS fraternity. I am thankful to Mr. Sunil Olyai and Mrs. Tina Olyai for reposing their trust in me. I would also like to thank Mrs. Shabana Rehan and all the teachers for their endless support and for being an anchor for me.
LAHS has indeed given me wings and it continues to inspire me to soar high into the sky and follow my dreams. It has always motivated me to strive to be the best version of myself and I hope to make everyone proud of me. I was, I am and I will always be a part of LAHS because once an “Angelite”, always an “Angelite”.
