LAHS Alumni Muin Iqbal completed his MBA in Sports Management from Real Madrid Graduate School Madrid .
    In Muins Words….
Having worked with Real Madrid FC on various projects like Hala Madrid ( The best club of the 20th century) and others. I recently completed my MBA in Sports Management from Real Madrid Graduate School Madrid.
If someone told me years ago that my name will be announced in Santiago Bernabéu and that I would be Awarded my Masters Degree by the hands of Florentino Pérez and Emilio Butragueño or I would meet with the key players and managers of sporting industry, visit the biggest sporting stadiums and have the experience of watching biggest sporting events around the world live, I would have not believed it.
The words could never do justice what I learned from my school and what it helped me to achieve my dreams. It gave me a belief and trained me to believe in my dreams. I was one of the most notorious student (Tina ma’am and Binita ma’am would agree with me) but teachers helped me channelize that behaviour into productive learning and creative thinking. Also one of the most important things I learned from Teachers, Staff and specially Sunil Sir, whp was always so humble and down to earthand to Respect everyone and be kind. It is one of the most important things i have learnt in my life from my school .
I remember my source of knowledge was developed during my time at school. Everyone there was always keen on making you grasp knowledge and keeping up with the information of the world. I met most of the influential people in my life at my school. I not only met my best friends but also got educated by the best teachers. I will always be indebted to the school for everything and will always try give it back as much as I can. Always proud to be an Angelite and favourite student of many teachers.
I wish the current and future students all the very best. Enjoy your time at LAHS, you’re surely in for a journey of a lifetime. And do get in touch if you want any assistance or guidance about the sporting industry.

    Alumni LAHS Batch 2000

Currently working as Engineering Manager at Uber Inc in San Francisco USA . I have the pleasure of working closely on the core dispatching systems of the Uber platform. I founded two companies over the years and I worked at 3 tech companies in USA as a Software Engineer and in Senior Roles.I went on to complete my Bachelors of Engineering at Anna University, India and Masters of Science in Oregon state university, USA.

I was provided Full Scholarship for my Masters Education and successfully published papers in Peer Reviewed International Conferences. In the last 25 years, LAHS has produced an entire generation of Smart, Talented,
Empathetic and Humble Rockstars. This is one of the biggest contributions of this great institution for the growth of our great country. There are days I have wondered, how the leadership and the teachers (those who are still there from the 90s), continue to engage and educate with the same passion and drive for such a long time. In the world of instant gratification, LAHS fraternity is my inspiration for perseverance and dedication.

Education at LAHS offered me much more beyond just textbooks which greatly helped my future accomplishments. People skills are very important to succeed in life and I think that LAHS nailed it down by incorporating it among its students. Regular extra-curricular and co-curricular were definitely helpful in developing the right attitude among students. During my tenure at LAHS, I attended ICSQCC twice in Lucknow, Karate Contests in Delhi and I was even taught Cartooning with a Dedicated Teacher from outside school. LAHS has been one of the best things that happened to me.I am ever thankful to Tina Ma’am, Alka Ma’am, Sunil Sir and all the other teachers for the effort they invested in me years back.

    Alumni LAHS Batch 2008

Master’s in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
During my Post Graduation I Co-Founded a Start-Up, Materialize X wherein we developed a pioneering material from the leftover biomass of Algae biorefineries.
One of my most remarkable Achievement in the Startup was being invited at the Buckingham Palace by Her Excellency Queen Elizabeth ll.Having worked in the Startup Culture in London and Berlin, I now look forward to expanding my vision in India. Presently, I am also working as the President of Gramiksha which is a non-profit organization that I founded in the year 2011 with another alumnus of LAHS.
The aim of the organization is to work on the quality of education in government schools. Gramiksha has helped me to keep in touch with my school friends of LAHS and we work together almost on a day to day basis.
We are thankful to Tina Ma’am and faculty at LAHS who have supported us in many of our initiatives at Gramiksha .
I passed out LAHS in 2008. One of the memories that I am very fond of is from 9th standard. I think that was the best phase in school life just before the pressure of 10th boards.
LAHS has supported me at each and every level. I developed an interest in science fiction writing in those days and I shared one of my stories with Jitendra Sir and the next moment I was shortlisted for MACFAIR International held in Lucknow. In the same year, I attended ICQCC at Sri Lanka for where I got an award for Quiz. We were lucky to have Jitendra Sir as our Class teacher , he always taught us things beyond Mathematics. Sometimes, he even used to take us for jogging just before assembly. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my Teachers at LAHS . The list is long and I have a bundle of memories. You helped me to develop my curiosity in Science and I will always be indebted.
